To do this effectively, Scrum defines a set of roles, artifacts, and events that work together to ensure transparency, inspection, and adaptation.

Let’s explore the different events in Scrum.

Scrum defines five events: the Sprint, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. Each event has a specific purpose and plays a critical role in the Scrum process.

1. Sprint: The Sprint is a time-boxed period of one month or less during which the Development Team creates a potentially releasable Increment of the product.

2. Sprint Planning: Sprint Planning is a time-boxed event that marks the beginning of the Sprint and sets the Sprint Goal. During this event, the Development Team works with the Product Owner to select Product Backlog items for the Sprint and creates a plan for delivering them.

3. Daily Scrum: The Daily Scrum is a time-boxed event that enables the Development Team to synchronize activities and plan for the next 24 hours. Each team member answers three questions: What did I do yesterday? What will I do today? Are there any impediments in my way?

4. Sprint Review: The Sprint Review is a time-boxed event that allows the Scrum Team to inspect and adapt the Increment at the end of the Sprint. During this event, the Development Team presents the work done during the Sprint and receives feedback from the Product Owner and other stakeholders.

5. Sprint Retrospective: The Sprint Retrospective is a time-boxed event that allows the Scrum Team to inspect and adapt the Scrum process itself. During this event, the team reflects on the previous
