The American Psyche

Yesterday, I listened to President Barrack Obama’s 2016 State of the Union Address.

Believe you me, if America was a product or service, with Obama’s pitch, they have already won my patronage. Obama’s speech and body language was that of a Marketer selling a product or service close to his heart. He was more or less an American Brand Ambassador.

Obviously, the United States of America is very far away from being a PERFECT and “GENTLEMAN” nation as Obama portrayed. As a matter of fact they  (USA) take a large chunk of the World’s problems [Crimes,Slums,Poverty,Unemployment…just name it]. However, the average American is not quick to display their Weaknesses. Even when they are in trouble they make it look like nothing serious is happening.  This is what I have come to tag as the AMERICAN PSYCHE.

The American has a way of taking seemingly SMALL things and making a MAMMOTH out of them.

Take for example, We all know that the China is the world’s factory. America takes products from China and almost immediately they tag it “AMERICAN SPECS”.. C’mon, those gadgets came in from China.

America despite their troubles have come to position themselves as they big brother of the rest of the World. Even when they are exploiting your nation, they make it look like they are the best help you can get.

It wouldn’t be a BAD IDEA if we (You and I) borrow some ideas from the AMERICAN PSYCHE.

Little things become BIG courtesy of the AMERICAN TOUCH…

Manufactured products from China suddenly become AMERICAN SPECS courtesy of not the product or the manufacturer but the guy suing the product.

BTW(By The Way) here are some of my favorite lines from President Obama’s speech;

the United States of America, right now, has the strongest, most durable economy in the world

That spirit of discovery is in our DNA. We’re Thomas Edison and the Wright Brothers and George Washington Carver. We’re Grace Hopper and Katherine Johnson and Sally Ride. We’re every immigrant and entrepreneur from Boston to Austin to Silicon Valley racing to shape a better world. And over the past seven years, we’ve nurtured that spirit.

Now we’ve got to accelerate the transition away from dirty energy. Rather than subsidize the past, we should invest in the future

The United States of America is the most powerful nation on Earth.

When you come after Americans, we go after you.
