It’s Tuesday the 20th of November 2018,
It is a Public Holiday in this part of the world.
I woke up this morning to news of Tosin Bucknor’s death, in case You dont know her, Tosin is an ace broadcaster in Lagos, Nigeria.
RIP Tosin and RIP to all the dead that were not as popular as Tosin.
Death is a debt we all owe and are going to payback in full.
The most annoying part is; You really don’t know when the man in the long black coat will come knocking on your door.
While we are still alive, we must keep on grinding.
Living each day like its our last and if we are privileged to see tomorrow, well, Glory be to God!.
In the spirit of the hustle, I have been pondering on the subject of Money for a while now.
Money! Owo! Kudi! Ego!, Kpa!, Pepper! (which ever one appeals to You)
Asides from Football and Sex, Money is one of the other unifying topics.
Whether You are White, Black, Muslim, Christian, Babalawo, Gay, Straight, Bi, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, we all want to make this money.
We want the Naira and Dollars and Pounds.
We go about the quest to make money in different ways; some good, some bad, some ugly, some spiritual, some sensual..at the end of the day we all want to have more money at the end of each activity than we had at the beginning.
So I thought to myself, will it not be worth the while, if we devoted sometime to study and fully understand this subject that has kept all of us on our toes?.
And like every learning quest, the best way to acquire and use knowledge is to re-produce what You have learned in your own words and also be able to teach it to people.
That is exactly what I hope to achieve with this series.
Caveat: I am not writing as an expert on the subject of Money, if I was an expert, I wouldnt need to clock into some office at 8am every weekday except days like today.
I am simply learning the subject of money.. and in the course of my learning, I will share what I have learned. Datzall!
So If You are like me and You want to learn more about THIS MONEY.. watch or bookmark this space and hopefully at the end of it all, we would have secured more money bags than we have need off.
And while You are waiting for my next article in this series, Let me leave You with the anthem of the street:
Yours in hustle!
